Wolf GoldWhat cookies are and why we use them
Cookies are small text files that a site places on your device when you visit. They store a short piece of information, such as an identifier for your browsing session, which the site can read back when you open another page or return later.
We also use technologies that work in much the same way, including browser storage and small measurement pixels in pages and e-mails. Where this policy says cookies, it covers those as well.
We use them for a limited set of purposes:
- We keep you signed in and keep your session secure as you move between the lobby, the cashier and your account.
- We remember choices you have made, such as your language or a message you have already dismissed.
- We work out how the site is used, so that we can fix errors and simplify the pages people struggle with.
- We measure how our advertising performs and, where you have agreed to it, show you relevant messages elsewhere.
Some cookies are set by us. Others are set by the providers behind parts of the service, such as game content, payment processing and analytics. We allow them to use cookies only for the purposes we have agreed with them.
The categories of cookies we use
We sort cookies into four categories, and the cookie notice on the site uses the same four, so a choice you make there matches the descriptions below.
| Category | Consent needed | Typical purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | No, the site cannot run without them | Signing in, session security, storing your cookie choice |
| Performance and analytics | Yes | Counting visits, spotting errors and slow pages |
| Functionality | Yes | Remembering preferences such as language or layout |
| Marketing | Yes | Measuring our advertising and limiting repeat messages |
Strictly necessary cookies
These keep the site working and your account with us secure. They sign you in and hold your session, spread traffic across our servers, protect forms against misuse, and remember which categories you accepted so the notice does not reappear on every page. They also make sure the safer gambling settings on your account, such as a deposit limit or a time-out, apply as soon as you sign in. We do not ask for consent to these, because the service cannot be provided without them.
Performance and analytics cookies
These tell us how the site is used overall: which pages are opened, how long they take to load, where a registration or payment step is abandoned, and which errors appear. We use the results to fix faults and shorten journeys. The reports we look at describe groups of visitors rather than named people.
Functionality cookies
These remember your choices so you do not have to make them again, for example your language, the way you have arranged the lobby, or a game you have marked as a favourite. Without them the site still works, but it returns to its default settings each time.
Marketing cookies
These show us which of our advertisements led to a visit or a registration, and they let advertising partners limit how often you see the same message. Where you have agreed to them, they may also be used to show you messages about our games on other sites and apps.
How to manage cookies
You can change your mind at any time, in two places.
In the cookie notice on the site
When you first arrive, the notice asks whether you accept cookies beyond the strictly necessary ones. You can accept all categories, refuse the optional ones, or open the detailed settings and choose category by category. Your choice is saved and applied on your next visit. The cookie settings control in the footer reopens the notice, so you can switch off something you accepted earlier.
In your browser or on your device
Every current browser lets you see the cookies stored on your device, delete them and decide whether to accept new ones. The controls sit in the privacy or site settings part of the browser menu, and the wording differs a little between browsers. From there you can usually do the following.
- Delete the cookies already stored, either all of them or only those set by one site.
- Block all cookies, or block only the cookies set by third parties.
- Clear cookies automatically when you close the browser, or browse in a private window.
- Manage the advertising identifier your phone or tablet provides, in the device settings.
Clearing cookies signs you out and removes saved preferences, so you will need to sign in again. It does not close your account, delete records we are required to keep, or cancel a self-exclusion: safer gambling settings belong to your account, not to your browser.
What happens if you block cookies
Refusing the optional categories is a normal choice, and the site is built to work when you do. Blocking strictly necessary cookies is different, because they carry out the tasks the site depends on.
- You may be unable to sign in, or you may be signed out as soon as you open another page.
- The cashier may refuse a deposit or a withdrawal, because the steps cannot be tied to a confirmed session.
- Games may fail to load, or a round in progress may be lost.
- The cookie notice may reappear on every page, because your choice cannot be stored.
- Preferences such as language and layout are forgotten between visits.
If part of the site stops behaving as it should, allow cookies again, clear the ones already stored and sign in afresh. That settles most cases.
Changes to this policy and how to reach us
We update this policy when the cookies we use change, when a provider changes, or when our legal duties require it. The version on this page is the current one. Where a change affects the optional categories, we will ask for your consent again through the cookie notice.
If you have a question about this policy, want to know what a particular cookie does, or need help changing your settings, e-mail us at support@casinospinzwin.co.uk or use the live chat on the site. It helps to tell us which browser and device you are using, as the controls differ between them.
Requests about the personal data we hold, including a copy or a deletion request, are handled under our Privacy Policy, which explains how to make one and how long we may take. If our answer does not satisfy you, you can raise the matter with the data protection authority that covers you.
